Kiran Foundation Trust handles every family's, donor's and volunteer's information with respect and responsibility.

This policy explains in simple language how KFT collects, uses and protects your information. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

1. What information we collect

KFT collects only the information needed to help a family, verify a case, or run the trust's work.

This may include patient name, age, location, contact number, medical condition, hospital details, medical documents, family financial information, referrer details, and volunteer / doctor / donor details submitted through our forms.

2. How the information is used

Information is used for case review, doctor consultation, hospital coordination, volunteer support, donor / supporter coordination, follow-up, reporting, and improving KFT services.

We do not sell your information for advertising.

3. Who the information may be shared with

When needed, and only for case support and verification, information may be shared with KFT's core team, doctors, medical advisors, volunteers, hospitals, donors / supporters, or partner organisations.

Sharing is kept as limited as possible.

4. Protection of sensitive information

Medical records, contact details, financial information and identity details are treated as sensitive and handled responsibly.

Access is restricted to authorised team members only.

5. Identity, photos and videos

Patient / family names, faces, phone numbers, addresses and sensitive medical details will not be publicly shared without consent.

For privacy, faces may be blurred and identifying details may be hidden or changed.

6. Documents and medical records

Documents you upload are used only for case verification and support coordination.

They will not be shared or published for any other purpose.

7. Consent

By submitting a form, you allow KFT to contact you and use the submitted information for case review and support coordination.

You can request to withdraw consent for a specific use at any time.

8. Data retention

Case details may be retained for documentation, reporting, audit and follow-up.

Where possible, information may be deleted on your request.
